How ILX Calcs is verified #

Every calculation type is checked against published worked examples. Each published value (a required strength, an available strength, an intermediate quantity such as Cb) is an automated test: the app's value must match within 1 % (with a small absolute allowance for rounded published values), and the tests run on every release. The Verification page lists every example and value with the app's result and the difference; a value the app computes differently on purpose is listed as a documented deviation with its reason.
