ILX Calcs user manual
ILX Calcs is the web edition of the ILX Calcs structural calculation tools: quick, documented member and element calculations for steel, wood, concrete, foundations, masonry, cold-formed steel and lateral loads, in one place. Every calculation shows its equations with the code clause, the governing load combination, a pass/fail status for each check, diagrams, and a calculation report you can print or save as PDF.
You are the engineer of record. ILX Calcs applies the code provisions as written; where a provision leaves a choice to the engineer (a deflection limit, a load factor option, a bracing assumption), the choice is an input with its usual value prefilled, never a hidden assumption.
Calculation types #
Calculations are grouped by material. This version has:
